Paris. Not exactly where I'd pick for some shore leave, but I guess I'll take it. Way everyone was talking, kind of figured this would be a hell of a lot worse.

[About half an hour later Sloth comes knocking on his door. Again. She's dressed fairly nicely - not dressed to the nines, but a step above casual. While most of what was in her wardrobe were suits and...more suits, she did have some other outfits for missions outside of her official job.]

[McCoy's not wearing one of his uniforms for basically the first time since he's gotten on the Barge outside of pajamas, anyway. He doesn't own a lot of casual clothing, and so wearing his Starfleet blues is practical as well as a habit. Not to mention they're comfy.

But he's wearing jeans and a blue button down shirt, with sneakers, and has packed a bag with plenty of medical supplies and other necessities, because like hell if he's trusting John's well being to whatever medical facilities they have in port, and he knows the likelihood of Jim getting in some stupid situation is pretty high too. The back's strap is slung over one shoulder as he goes to answer the door.]

[nods] Do you have any plans, or are we going to play this by ear?

Play it by ear, most likely. Is there anything in particular you'd wanna do?

Mmn, I figure we could keep things simple. Just walk around, see the sights, that sort of thing. Though, I have to ask, how much do you actually know about the city?

Not much outside of the run of the mill stuff. There's a couple famous landmarks, some art museums, the food's supposed to be incredible... But I don't know, I've never been and it might not be the Paris from my universe.

It's a start.

[Assumes he's ready and begins to walk off] It's funny, isn't it? How similar people's homes are, even with all the differences.

[He keeps up next to her.] I don't know, yours sounds pretty different from what I'm used to.
