[Hello again, Barge. This time, McCoy sounds a little less clipped and frazzled and more just grouchy, because he’s had time to settle in, but he’s still very :| about the whole idea of being able to just walk around on deck in the open air with space just… hanging out there. It’s a strange thing to adjust to.

I already got the talk about the ship not always bein' like this, and lookin' like it's about ready to get hauled off to some scrapyard, but is anyone else bothered by the fact that we’re wanderin’ around on a ship whose hull’s apparently got the strength of goddamn rice paper? What’re we even crashin’ into out here? It’s not like we’re tryin’ to navigate around some asteroid field.

I’m not sure what’s worse, havin’ your eyeballs pop in a real hull breach or come back psychologically damaged from some goddamned left turn that sends us crashin’ into whatever the hell there is to bump into out here.

And that's just how it is? And no one else's all that worried about it? What the hell happens if you fall over the side?

I can't tell which is worse, some of these floods or having your eyes pop out, but the current issue...I simply think the Barge is haunted and cursed, but nothing major. Perhaps if I had my full powers back I could take care of it myself, but you'd have to talk to Rayne about that.

[McCoy's in his uniform - largely because he really only owns a couple things that aren't uniforms or pajamas - and has been hiding out down here when he's not getting acclimated and hanging out with Jim or Spock. Not that he and Spock hang out, per say.

I personally would rather keep an eye on this heap for a little while longer. I don't trust it as far as I can throw it, but I don't want it skipping off to some unknown dimension without someone on it.

I know little about such things, but if we can walk on the deck without a hull around us at all, I should think if the actual... walls broke, we'd still be in little danger. We are in space, but I don't think this is a space ship.

You've not been here long enough to know how odd it can get here. I am not happy about all this, but I have my hands full with my inmate.

There's a certain level of impermanence on this ship. When we fall over board, we become assimilated into the environment of the nearest world. It usually only happens during port. I can recall the ship crashing, once; the damage was repaired, and we all managed to return to space.

It is fascinating, but my scans haven't revealed any useful information. My theory is there is kind of forcefield keeping in the oxygen.

Given we are sailing in a dimensional ship rather a space ship, it is perhaps unwise to assume that the laws of our universe should automatically apply.
