[McCoy sounds, understandably, pretty stressed out. The infirmary is constantly understaffed, and when some of the people who usually help out are the people who decided to get themselves killed/used as human(oid) punching bags this weekend, it means the issue's even more apparent.

That said, there's a professionalism to the bark, because McCoy does his best when he's stressed out and has ten million things he has to do. It's just also useful to have a staff of people on hand for when these things happen.]

I need anyone with an extra set of hands and basic first aid knowledge down here five minutes ago. We've got a lot of pretty banged up people and I can't be everywhere at once.

For anyone who isn't down here and needs help, don't keep quiet about it. I can send someone up with a stretcher or help you walk so long as you let us know where you are. And if anyone's seriously injured, call me down before you move 'em, you'll just make things worse if you don't know what you're doing.

You are welcome. In light of recent events, however, I would like to make a few requests.

Before doing so, I wish to make it clear your psychological progress is estimated to be in excess of 90% completion. Barring unforeseen events, it should not be long before you are ready to choose between departure and employment.

That is...very interesting to know. I will be choosing employment, I believe, for three purposes.

You and I both know that if I return to my world, I shall be a fugitive. I will be unable to practice my calling, regardless of my skills and intentions. But in this place, my services appear to be greatly needed, and though I expect I will be watched closely especially at first, I still believe they would be welcome. That is the first reason.

The second reason is the chance to earn back my sister's life. And the third is the chance to regain my youth, so that I will have more time and energy for her.

It's conceivable you could request to rejoin it in another capacity. There are some reports suggestive of success with this strategy. But you're correct about your consumer demand. In some ways, you would be considered better qualified by colleagues for wardening duties than I am.

And you'd be able to secure further desires, given sufficient progress and endurance...

I think your success speaks a bit louder than the opinions of others.

At any rate there will always be some who consider me suspect, but...their opinions will be disproven over time.
